Grad Party Plans

.

.
We have a high school graduation at the end of this month, and as the month seems to be flying by, I thought it wise to set my menu. I don't know how many will be attending the party yet, but it will likely be a crowd of friends, family, teachers and large teenage boys. I hope that this menu offers a little something for everyone to enjoy, while offering me enough flexibility to get most of it done in the days before the party.

Sweet tea, soda pop, sangria and beer
White bean dip with veggie chips
pretzels and peanuts
.
Hot and Sweet Italian sausage pieces with sauteed peppers and onions
Fruit Skewers

Looks excellent! How are you keeping your hot dishes hot? Do you use chafing dishes, crockpots, roaster ovens? (I always use a combo of crockpots and roaster ovens. If I can avoid the Sterno, I do!)

Did your son help to plan the menu? It's perfect for a group that will have lots of teens. And I love the Mexican accent...should make decorating fun! Your son could help1 :)

Barb,
I think I will use the roaster with a couple of disposable pans for the pork and the sausages. The beans stay hot for a log time, so I'm not too worried about them.

Linda,
My son requested the pork and a few of the sides. He asked for us to have it catered with BBQ food, but the local place that was reasonably priced left town! My husband says mine is better anyway. ;-)

Sorry I missed your comment, Laura. Please do -- wouldn't that be great?
