Merciful God, You are great in compassion and Your tenderness for us is without measure. We ask You to give us today our daily bread, and also provide for the needs of all of Your hungry children around the world. Through Christ Your Son and Our Lord. Amen.

Weekly Menu

.

This week is a busy one for our family. We are preparing to move our oldest child to college on Thursday. I'm not certain how my heavy heart is going to deal with that. My son jokes that I'm going to stand beneath his window and wail. He may not be far from the truth -- just kidding.

Anyway, he picked all of our dinners this week, since he won't get his favorite foods for a while. On Thursday we'll grab a bite on our way to campus since he has to move in between 6 and 9 p.m. And on Friday, we have Homecoming at SC, which is always lots of fun. I'll look forward to that.

Saturday

Lunch: Skyline Chili
Dinner: BBQ Chicken Pizza

Sunday
Brunch: Sausage Gravy and biscuits, eggs
Dinner:
Coconut Shrimp with Pineapple Salsa, baked potatoes

Monday -- Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows
Lunch: hamburgers and tater tots
Dinner: mom has Panda Express with the kids -- Dad has a dinner function, Heart-shaped Cake (use pretzel sticks for the swords)

Tuesday
Lunch: leftover BBQ Chicken pizza
Dinner: Baked Ziti, Pan de Horno, fresh tomatoes

Wednesday -- Feast of St. Robert Bellarmine
Lunch: Pancakes and fruit
Dinner: Stromboli, Italian chopped salad

Thursday
Lunch: Mini pizzas, yogurt
Dinner: Taking big boy to college :o( Grab a bite somewhere.

Friday
Lunch: tomato soup and grilled cheese
Dinner: SC Homecoming -- Tailgate Party

* Tried and true
* New to me
