Weekly Menu
Friday brought the birthday of our youngest son and so, we celebrated today, and will celebrate again with grandparents on Sunday. The birthday boy requested Sunday's dinner and dessert, which we, hopefully, will enjoy outdoors.
The rest of the week is pretty simple. I have found that I am doing too much during the days and am having pain at night, so I am simplifying our dinners even more. This Wednesday brings the start of school for our high schooler, so I planned a comfort meal and dessert that day.
Sunday
Brunch: Pancakes and sausage
Dinner: Marinated Steaks, corn on the cob, watermelon, garlic bread, Chocolate Cake (with chocolate frosting, malted milk balls and crushed candy topping) and ice cream
Monday
Lunch: Birds' Nests
Dinner: Chicken Philly Sandwiches (make extra chicken for tortilla wrap on Tuesday), onion rings, fruit salad
Tuesday
Lunch: Chicken Tortilla wrap, fresh fruit
Dinner: Pot Roast, mashed potatoes, carrots
Wednesday
Lunch: Hamburgers, carrots and ranch dip
Dinner: Baked Country Ribs, Macaroni and Cheese, buttered corn, chocolate pudding
Thursday
Lunch: Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwiches
Dinner: Hot roast beef sandwiches, chips, fruit salad
Friday
Lunch: Tomato soup

* Tried and true
* New to me
