Merciful God, You are great in compassion and Your tenderness for us is without measure. We ask You to give us today our daily bread, and also provide for the needs of all of Your hungry children around the world. Through Christ Your Son and Our Lord. Amen.

Weekly Menu

.
.
We start this week off on Sunday with Peach's sixth birthday. The birthday girl has requested Spaghetti and sauce (her favorite dish), which I will serve to her family and grandparents with Italian sausages (cooked in the sauce), salad, bread and a Castle Birthday Cake. I've never made this cake before, and it's mostly a construction job and not a culinary task, so we'll see how it goes. Pictures next week if it turns out.

The rest of the week is pretty blah -- just trying to muddle through.

Saturday

is castle bday cake just a cake in the shape of a castle? or is it special recipe?

Kristine, It's just the shape. I was looking online for a princess cake when "the princess" spotted the castle cake from over my shoulder. I'm trying for this one:

It may not be quite as decorative as the picture, but hopefully I'll get the point across! :o)
