My New Favorite
I've never had a favorite wine. I generally drink almost anything (not sure what that says). I don't like too dry and I don't like too sweet, but anything in the middle of the road is usually o.k. by me. I'm definitely not a wine snob or a connoisseur. I usually drink white, but sometimes drink red with my mom, because that's what she drinks. I purchase "good buys." Which usually means it's on sale. Say a $10 bottle on sale for $8. I'm easy.
Well, I recently found what could be my new favorite white wine. I'm not big on the name or the art (kinda strange and not an image I want in my head for long), but what's inside the bottle is good stuff. I was curious to read at their website that my new favorite wine is aged in stainless steel barrels -- no oak. I wonder if that is what I really like about this wine. It just tastes different from other Chardonnays. Cleaner or something.
Stop by sometime and I'll pour you a glass. If it's after noon. Somewhere.

Daniel likes white wine better than red...I'll try to find this for him!
I'll be right over!
I hate oak - awful stuff - I think it's responsible for the decline of chardonnay. Which really is a shame, as chardonnay can be a lovely wine if done right.
If you like this you might like some of Peter Lehmann's wines. They're Australian and really fruity and mellow. Yum... wine! ;-)
I kind of like the art. It reminds me of The Wind in the Willows!
Anne, I think the label art is strange to me because we have a little baby frog (Hopkins) and I just don't like the image of him standing on his hind legs with a glass of red! Kind of like a weird dream.
I would love to come for a glass of wine.
God is good. One never knows...
