This is a busy week for us. We have some activities on the family calendar and we have some feast days to celebrate.I decided this past week (after my kids cheered at burgers and fries) to make burgers (either beef or turkey) a regular weeknight meal for the summer. I think we can jazz them up a little so that it's not like eating a regular old hamburger each week.
Saturday (my baby's going to the prom!)
Lunch: Skyline chilitos
Dinner: Pizza
Sunday
Brunch: eat out
Dinner: Caesar Marinated Grilled Chicken,Spring Risotto with Peas and Zucchini, salad, bread, Creamy Lemon Squares
Monday
Lunch: leftover pizza
Dinner: Italian sausage sandwiches with peppers and onions, fried potatoes, fruit salad
Tuesday -- Feast of St. Catherine
Lunch: Chicken Noodle Soup
Dinner: Shrimp and Pasta with fresh tomatoes and basil, bread, salad, biscotti and Cappuccino Coolers
Wednesday
Lunch: ham and cheese sandwiches
Dinner: Burgers with cheddar and salsa, Crispy oven fries, cole slaw
Thursday -- Feast of St. Joseph the Worker
Lunch: egg salad sandwiches
Dinner: Tortellini Soup, Italian Bread, Italian Ice and Pepperidge Farm Pirouettes
Friday
Lunch: Grilled Cheese sandwiches and tomato soup
Dinner: Salmon Nicoise salad (something like this), bread, Better Than Everything Cake
