Merciful God, You are great in compassion and Your tenderness for us is without measure. We ask You to give us today our daily bread, and also provide for the needs of all of Your hungry children around the world. Through Christ Your Son and Our Lord. Amen.

Noli me Tangere by Antonio da Correggio, circa 1534
I just made your loose meat sandwiches today for lunch. I used regular paprika b/c that's all I have. What the difference between that and sweet paprika?
I think I'll try cooking the onions with the meat next time apparently raw onions do not agree with me so much!
Anne, You could certainly skip the onion entirely. It's kind of like raw onion on a burger or hot dog -- only if you like it!
An online friend sent me a wonderful box of paprika. I don't know that it is characterized as sweet but it does have more flavor than grocer paprika. Penzey's ( http://www.penzeys.com ) is a good resource for spices if you have store nearby or care to place on online order. It's no more expensive that the grocery store if you split the shipping with someone.
